Our Art

A quiet philosophy of making

Roulis brings together painters, ceramicists, jewellers and sculptors whose work is bound to the landscape, light and traditions of Santorini.

Artist working with clay

The Approach

Craft as a way of listening

The works we present begin in observation — the movement of afternoon light against a plastered wall, the weight of volcanic clay in the hand, the specific blue that only appears at certain hours over the caldera.

Each artist and maker interprets that observation in their own material language. Nothing here is mass-produced; each piece carries the trace of its process.
